This is a painting of the famous Grizzly 399 and her 4 cubs of the year in 2020.
I began following the the family on social media when they emerged from their den last year.
Surprising everyone - the 24 year old gave birth to four babies!
I knew I had to see them for myself and headed north to Grand Teton National Park. I was in awe as they made their way through the willows and out in to the open.
What a gift to watch them run and play and munch on biscuit root!
This painting will be available for sale at the CFD Art Show & Sale July 22, 2021
