ABOUT THE ARTIST
Renee' Piskorski grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She's always been interested in art and is basically self-taught. Renee' works exclusively in oil.
Striving to capture the setting, feeling, and atmosphere of the field, she paints on location and in the studio. "The wild places and it's many beautiful creatures have always been my inspiration," Renee' said. "I hope to convey through my paintings the sense of wonder, truth, and peace of the natural world."
Renee' was included in the prestigious "Arts for the Parks" National Art Contest in 2004.
She won grand prize in the Wyoming Conservation Stamp Show and Sale in 2003, and has placed in the top 5 several times.
She has exhibited, and won awards in numerous solo, juried and invitational shows.
Her work is in collections throughout the U.S., Canada, Japan and Europe.
